Cast of NBC's COMMUNITY as BATMAN & co.

Took awhile to hash out who was going to be who.
- Britta as Batwoman (May be shortsighted of me... but felt it was appropriate with Britta's brief dabbling in the lesbian world)
- Jeff as Harvey Dent (Kind of boring, I know... however, I plan on a second Bat Villain piece, so it should play out well then)
- Chang as Robin (Originally he was going to be Commisioner Gordon since he's a figure of authority now... but visually I dont feel that would of been all that funny. His hair, though, made him perfect for the 60's TV version of Robin)
- Annie as Batgirl (I like this since she makes up a roommate triumvirate with Abed and Troy now... parallels Bruce/Dick/Barbara from the 60s)
- Abed as Batman (Duh)
- Troy as Nightwing (I completely refused to make Troy Robin... even though it probably would of made sense. But I felt since Donald Glover has been raised to Spider-Man caliber, he deserved to be someone bad-ass)
- Pierce as Alfred (If there was ever a Batman parody I would have no problem with Chevy Chase filling in Michael Caine's role)
- Shirley and Dean Pelton as Catwoman (Really wanted to do Yvette Brown as a tribute to Eartha Kitt. And similar to the beginning number of Seasn 3, ep. 1, wanted Dean Pelton to come and steal Shirley's diva thunder. Ironically, I had him choose the sluttier Halle Berry version)

I'm sure you get this all the time kinjamin & I'm sorry but, who else agrees that Jeff should have been Joker?

Looks awesome, you do good work. If i could make a suggestion, you should think about doing one where the cast is all warcraft characters:

Jeff - Blood Elf Rogue (as the prettiest race, a blood elf would fit Jeff's narcissism and vanity. And, as he's a lawyer, he's good at stabbing people in the back)

Britta - Tauren Druid (as a wannabe liberal, she'd like being an environmentally focused character inspired by the plains indians)

Shirley - Human Priest (the priest fits Shirley's caring and religious side. I would imagine Shirley as being reluctant to play any race other than human, which fits well with her intolerance for ways of life that are different from hers)

Pierce - Goblin Warlock (the Goblin is basically a walking amalgamation of mild anti-semitic stereotypes, and so is more of a caricature than a character, something more to point and laugh at than to view as an actual sentient being. Which is basically what Pierce is: a walking joke. As for warlock, it fits in well with Pierce being the bad guy)

Troy - Orc Warrior (Energetic, uncomplicated, athletic. As a former varsity football player, this one just feels right for Troy)

Annie - Worgen Mage (Of all the magic classes in WoW, the mage is the most scholarly. Where the druid venerates nature, and the priest prays to holy deities, the mage studies the world like a scientist. It is the most academically themed class, and no one is more academic then Annie. As for being a Worgen, aside from her decision to make herself a werewolf during her Halloween story, the duality of being both innocent girl and fierce beast fits Annie well, as her sweet default demeanor often hides her ambitious and competitive drive)

Abed - Gnome Monk (the gnomes are often obsessed with mechanical contraptions and devices, which fits with Abed's mechanical nature and his difficulty with expressing emotions. Between the insight he has into the workings of the cosmos, and his love for kickpuncher, the monk seemed an obvious choice for Abed)

About Troy as Robin, "-he deserved to be someone badass."

>implying Robin isn't bad ass.
>implying Dick Grayson is more badass than Tim Drake.
>implying Tim Drake isn't the best character in the DC universe.

1 Tim Drake isn't Robin Anymore
2 Dick could kick Tim Drakes ass
3 try at least half the heroes in the dc universe

6 months later... okay.

1. Alright, maybe it's supposed to be Damian Wayne, fair enough. But if it is then there is no Night Wing.

2. More badass =/= can beat up.

3. Matter of opinion.

Robin is cool. He's a cool hero, especially Tim and I don't think most people give him enough credit. I don't see what isn't cool about a teenager who can go toe to toe with Super Villains and often Super Heroes, not because he's got superman powers or crazy speed but because he's smart.

1 Bruce is Back as batman
2 DG has kicked Jason Todds ass Jason Todd has kicked Tim drakes ass thus DG would kick Tim Drakes ass.
3 DG started doing the same exact thing when he was eight Jason Todd when he was twelve that is the very basis of the Robin mythology

Chill out man. Like fucking just... calm down. And again, being able to beat some one up doesn't make a better character, or a cooler character.
